Lauren Human

Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department at McGill University

Lauren received her Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology from the University of British Columbia, where she primarily studied how psychological and social functioning influence and are influenced by accuracy in first impressions. She is now expanding this line of research to examine the role of a variety of physiological processes in accuracy. Her current research is examining whether the psychosocial effects of oxytocin in turn impact the accuracy of interpersonal impressions.
