Become a Research Assistant
The Emotion, Health and Psychophysiology Lab at UCSF is now accepting applications for volunteer research assistants.
Our research focuses on embodiment -- how the mind influences the body, and the reciprocal, how bodily changes influence thoughts, emotions, and intentions. Research assistants working in the lab are exposed to a variety of studies at the intersection of social psychology, emotion, and psychophysiology.
Research assistants learn how to conduct studies, collect physiological data and edit and score autonomic data. Our research assistants work at least 10-12 hours a week for two school semesters. Please note that the lab operates between 9am-6pm on both weekdays and weekends.
If you are interested in applying, please send your cover letter, resume/vita, and weekly availability to the lab manager, Katie Ross at firstname.lastname@example.org.
